What Does this MRI Test Result Mean?

I am experiencing pain in my left butt down to my left leg. My doctor did not clearly explain to me the result of my MRI. The remarks of my MRI are (1) Cystic lesion in the left anterior epidural space at the level of L4 and (2) Mild diffuse posterior disc bulge with mild bilateral neural canal norrowing, L3-L4 and L4-L5. Im still having back pain despite of my medication. Kindly see attached copy of my MRI result for details. I am hoping for postive response on this matter. This is Emerson of the Philippines. Thanks.

Pulmonologist 's  Response
Hello,

Regarding your MRI result you have an early discal hernia which compresses isciadicus nerve and produce pain. Only painkillers may help and you should take them for two weeks.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Jnikolla,
